About me
I worked as a research assistant (2011-2015) and have completed a PhD in computer science in 2016 at the Faculty of Informatics, Vienna University of Technology, focusing on energy efficiency of geographically-distributed data centers. In the winter of 2014 I was a visiting researcher at the University of Manchester. Previously, I worked for one year (2011/2012) as an external associate at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, researching machine learning methods for forecasting financial crises. I completed my bachelor's (2006-2009) and master's degree (2009-2011) in computer science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. During my graduate studies I participated in the Erasmus exchange program two times at the University of Vienna (in 2009 and 2011).
