Short CV

Boris is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Distributed Systems Group at TU Wien, where he received his Ph.D. in 2025. Before returning to his alma mater, he worked as Postdotoral researcher at UPF Barcelona. Additionally, he worked for four years as software engineer before pursuing research on distributed computing systems, with a focus on service orchestration, computing continuum systems, and active inference.

In particular, I’m currently offering topics in the context of ensuring Service Level Objectives (SLOs) through Active Inference (AIF), where the challenges are to ensure processing requirements (i.e., SLOs) in heterogeneous computing infrastructures by continuously exploring and developing a model of the processing environment.

Additionally, I’m always available to elaborate topics for Projects in Computer Science to directly contribute to our ongoing research projects and topics.
