Giulia is a university assistant and PhD student at the Distributed Systems Group of the Institute of Information Systems Engineering.
After finishing her bachelor studies in Physics in 2017, she received a master’s degree in Nuclear Physics in 2019 from the University of Pavia.
She has worked within the A2 collaboration at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz for over a year both as a summer student and Erasmus Traineeship student. The main focus of her work was to study photon-induced reactions, like meson photoproduction, in order to investigate the proton resonance properties.
Before joining the Distributed System Group, she worked for 9 months as a Salesforce developer at Deloitte Digital Consulting. Her current activities include research in blockchain interoperability and blockchain for the IoT.
- Blockchain interoperability
- Blockchain for the IoT
