The goal of this project is to conduct a study on collaboration possiblities within the European Space Agency (ESA) and its partners and then to develop a detailed design including conceptual architectures and required implementation componets to encompass divese collaboration models. The approach we follow is to achieve the interoperability of collaboration services by seamlessly integrating and composition collaboration objects services and by utilizing cloud computing offerings. In this project, we will focus on the study infrastructure requirements and on the design of collaboration services under the SaaS model and diverse, user-defined and composable collaboration objects.
This work is funded by the ESA (European Space Agency) from September, 2010 - June 2011, under the ESA under the contract AO/I-6243/09/NL/AF.
